SATA Air Açores informs that, between June 15 and August 15, 2026, it will integrate an additional aircraft under an ACMI arrangement, operated by Luxwing.
This measure was taken due to the delay in the start of operations of a new Dash Q400 (DH4) aircraft and aims to ensure compliance with the scheduled flight program, guaranteeing the operational robustness required during the period of highest demand.
Aircraft specifications:
- Dash8-Q400
- Capacity: 78 passengers (Y78)
Notes:
- Passenger and baggage acceptance policy, including the respective limits, remains identical to regular SATA Air Açores flights.
- Special services will be available in accordance with the usual procedures, with the exception of stretcher transport.
- On all flights operated under ACMI, a member of SATA cabin crew will always be present.
